Our
Garden Cottages (except Buttercup, which is
part of our farmhouse) have been created from some lovely old
brick and tile farm buildings. They form an L shape around our
gardens and overlook the most delightful countryside views.
They have been designed to a very high standard to reflect the
quality that guests expect today. All are fully equipped with
high quality fittings and appliances. All the kitchens boast
a host of pots and pans, plentiful cutlery and crockery, fridges,
freezers, washing machines and dryers, dishwashers, electric
cookers and microwaves to make the unavoidable basics as easy
as possible. Each sitting room has a colour television with Freeview, a video or DVD
and a CD player.
Cots and high chairs are available at no extra charge.
Winter breaks can be a pleasure and individually controlled
central heating in all properties ensures a warm welcome in
whichever season you visit us.
Our rental charges include electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and VAT because who wants to start their well earned holiday
by making up beds? (And who wants to take all that washing
home with them?)
All of the cottages have a selection of toys, games, books
and videos. Each cottage has a private patio area complete
with garden furniture and a BBQ. The enclosed yard has a ride-on tractors
and a sit in car that toddlers love. Children will enjoy exploring the extensive
gardens that are there for all to enjoy. We have a table-tennis
table, badminton/volleyball
net and rackets, and all weather tennis court with a basketball hoop.
We now aslo have a games room with a pool table, table football
machine and magnetic darts. There is also wifi internet access
available there. Best of all is the full-sized trampoline. This
is guaranteed fun for children (and for adults too) Please be aware
that the trampoline rules must be adhered too.
Our nearest town, Newport, is about 3 miles away. Here you
will find banks, shops, the post office, take-away's and Waitrose
-for all the essentials! A little further afield are Telford,
Shrewsbury, Stafford and the Potteries all of which will provide
you with all the shopping and entertaining opportunities that
you will need. See what to see and do for more details.
Within our local area there are plenty of pubs and restaurants
that will provide you with a range of meals to suit all tastes
and budgets.
Sorry, no pets except guide dogs and no smoking inside the cottages.
